E-Commerce Development

Launching a store is the easy part. Connecting what happens after the order is the real work.

The situation

Off-the-shelf platforms handle the sale well enough, then fall apart afterwards. Shipping, invoicing, stock and accounting are all done by hand. And product pages load slowly enough that visitors leave before they reach the basket.

Our approach

We build the storefront together with the operation behind it. Payment, shipping and accounting connect, so when an order lands, stock adjusts, the invoice is issued and the shipping label is created. Product and category pages are built to load fast and rank.

Who it's for

  • Growing brands hitting the limits of a hosted platform
  • Companies with wholesale or dealer pricing tiers
  • Stores still processing post-order steps manually
  • Brands selling abroad who need multi-currency setup

What's included

  • Product, variant and inventory structure
  • Payment integration, including instalment options
  • Automated shipping and invoicing integrations
  • Search-optimised product and category pages with structured data
  • Performance work through the basket and checkout steps
  • Campaign, coupon and price list management

Process

  1. Catalogue modelling

Product structure, variants and pricing logic. A messy catalogue is the most expensive thing to fix later.

  2. Integration plan

Which systems connect and which direction the data flows.

  3. Build

Storefront, product pages and checkout, each measured against a performance budget.

  4. Order flow testing

We run a real order end to end: payment, invoice, shipping, return.

  5. Launch and handover

Migration, redirects and admin training for your team.

Common questions

Can you migrate my existing store?

Yes. We move products, customer records and order history, and permanently redirect old product URLs so your search rankings carry over.

Can it connect to our accounting software?

Usually. If it has an API we connect directly; if not, we build a bridge around its export or database. Tell us which package you use and we can give you a definite answer.

Hosted platform or custom build?

It depends, and we'll tell you straight. If you sell a standard catalogue, building on an existing platform is faster and cheaper. If you have dealer pricing, complex variants or workflows specific to your operation, a custom build costs less over time.

If you have a question, let us start there.

Tell us what you are trying to do. On the first call we will tell you whether we are the right fit, roughly how long it takes and how we would approach it. No sales pitch.
