WHY WE WORK THIS WAY
Most software projects don't fail for technical reasons. They fail because they solved the wrong problem, shipped something nobody used, or never asked how the work actually gets done. That's why we never start a project by picking technology.
We map how the work really flows first — not what the process document says, but what people actually do. More often than not, this is where it turns out the thing that needs solving isn't the thing we were first told about.
We're a small team and we don't present that as a shortcoming. You talk to the people building the thing, so nothing is lost being relayed to someone else. In return, we don't take on unlimited work at once.
HOW WE WORK
Six commitments, each with a practical consequence.
The code is yours
Source code, database and infrastructure accounts are opened in your name and handed over at the end. We don't build in technical reasons for you to stay with us.
Something working every two weeks
You don't wait months and then discover the wrong thing was built. Every fortnight you try what exists and we correct course early if needed.
We turn down work we can't do well
When something falls outside what we're good at, we say so. Sometimes that means telling you not to rewrite a system at all.
Speed designed in, not bolted on
Performance isn't a task before launch; it's a constraint that sits inside the architectural decisions.
We write down what we did
The reasoning behind architectural decisions, setup instructions and known pitfalls are all delivered in writing. When you take it over, you aren't dependent on anyone.
We're here after launch
Handover isn't the end. Error tracking, measurement and new work continue — and if you'd rather move it in-house, we plan a proper transition.
